East Suffolk Community Resilience and Emergency Preparedness Webinar

East Suffolk Council and Joint Emergency Planning Unit (JEPU) are hosting a webinar on Emergency Preparedness and Building Community Resilience for East Suffolk Community Emergency Planning Group representatives. 

The webinar is designed to help Town/Parish Councils and Community Emergency Planning Groups within East Suffolk better prepare for unexpected events and crises whilst also looking to support their community throughout.

Location: Online (link provided upon registration closer to the date. This webinar is a closed session and only those listed on the registration form will be sent the link for attendance.)

The aim of the webinar is to:

  • Guide participants through practical steps for preparing for various emergencies
  • Help participants develop a Community Emergency Plan
  • Explore ways to strengthen community networks
  • Encourage a proactive mindset to community resilience

  • Know how to support the community in a time of crisis
  • Feel empowered as a Town/Parish Council and/or Community Emergency Planning Group to build community resilience
